President Obama uses Caitlyn Jenner as example of our country being 'more accepting' of who people 'truly are'

President Obama acknowledged our country’s progress when it comes to acceptance, bringing up Caitlyn Jenner’s recent transition as an example.

He attended the taping of Logo's Trailblazer Honors, where he made a moving speech about being accepting of the LGBT and transgender communities.

“When this network aired its first show, gay marriage was a political wedge issue used to divide us," he said of just 10 years ago. "Today the majority of Americans live in states where they can get married, no matter who they love. Today 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' is history.”

People reports he never mentioned Jenner by name, but mentioned her groundbreaking Vanity Fair cover.

“All you have to do is look at this month's cover of Vanity Fair to see how America is more accepting of people for who they truly are,” he continued.

Obama went on to call this progressive way of thinking a natural step. He said it shows “change is not just possible – change is inevitable.”

Iceland Recovering Fastest in Europe After Jailing Bankers Instead of Bailing them Out

(ANTIMEDIA) After Iceland suffered a heavy hit in the 2008-2009 financial crisis, which famously resulted in convictions and jail terms for a number of top banking executives, the IMF now says the country has managed to achieve economic recovery—“without compromising its welfare model,” which includes universal healthcare and education. In fact, Iceland is on track to become the first European country that suffered in the financial meltdown to “surpass its pre-crisis peak of economic output”—essentially proving to the U.S. that bailing out “too big to fail” banks wasn’t the way to go.

Iceland is beautifully, yet unfortunately, unique in how it chose to handle the disaster. It simply let the banks fail, which resulted in defaults totaling $85 billion—lending ample justification for the prosecution and conviction of bank executives for various fraud-related charges. The decision seemed shocking at the time, but the gamble has obviously paid off. Choosing a different route, the U.S. bailed out the banks and let executives off the hook by levying fines that ultimately ended up being paid by the corporations—meaning the executives ostensibly responsible for the mess got off scot-free.

“Why should we have a part of our society that is not being policed or without responsibility?” special prosecutor Olafur Hauksson said after Iceland’s Supreme Court upheld the convictions for three bankers—and sentenced them to between four and five and a half years each. “It is dangerous that someone is too big to investigate—it gives a sense there is a safe haven.”

Hauksson, a police officer from a small fishing village, ended up taking the role of special prosecutor after being urged to do so when the first announcement to fill the position drew no applicants. The Icelandic Parliament even aided the prosecution’s effort by loosening secrecy laws to allow investigation without the hindrance of requiring court orders.

Six of the seven convictions that ended up in Iceland’s Supreme Court have been upheld, and five cases were scheduled for the top court as of February. An additional fourteen cases appear likely to be prosecuted. By contrast, the animosity Americans felt toward their largest financial institutions after the bailout has grown bitter. After the banks plead guilty in May for manipulating global currency and interest rates, the court imposed a paltry fine of $5.7 billion—which won’t even go to the people most affected by the fraud. Iceland’s successful prosecutions and economic recovery remain the subject of envy for Americans.

Shortly, however, Iceland’s economic health will be put to the test.

Strict capital controls that were applied when banks were circling the drain six years ago will now be loosened, allowing foreign investors—whose assets have essentially been frozen since then—to take their business elsewhere. To prevent a possible repeat crisis, the finance minister announced a 39% tax for anyone choosing to do so. “The danger is capital flight and a consequent fall in the value of the krona,” explained University of Iceland economics professor, Thorolfur Matthiasson. “That would be tantamount to October 2008, bringing back bad memories for ordinary people and possibly making most businesses unsustainable due to balance-sheet problems.”

Though many are nervous, there is still cautionary optimism since Iceland has certainly weathered the storm before.

Origin of Left & Right...

I have often wondered why it is that Conservatives are called the right"  and Liberals are called the "left".

 

By chance I stumbled upon this verse in the Bible:   Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV) - "The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left."

Thus sayeth the Lord.   Amen.

 

It surely can't get any simpler than that.

Aren't you tired of being kicked around by municipal corporations masquerading as government? If you want to help end that, I suggest that you start asserting that you live in a State of the Union rather than in a federal region ZIP code. 

You see, the LAST part of an address contains everything BEFORE it, in it. So if the last part of your address is a ZIP code, then you've identified yourself living in a FEDERAL REGION, where muni corporations RULE.

So if you want to return back to the Republic, you gotta START by using a PROPER address in a State of the Union, which has the State Name as the LAST part of the address. Furthermore, since there are no ZIP codes in States of the Union, you gotta use POSTAL ROUTE instead of ZIP code.

postal route 92627, California

Now that's a PLACE IN our REPUBLIC, not in some crappy federal region! Or just remain complacent and wait for Martial law, when the only option will be to pay for your freedom in blood.

And when you start using such proper addressing in ANY and ALL cases, and refuse to do otherwise, then you can consider yourself a Son of the Republic, and start living in a free country.

Here's what happens to free people when they submit to municipal corporations by use of ZIP codes; millions are jailed for victim-less "crimes":

It'd also be a good idea to stop identifying yourself as a federal citizen, and start asserting your citizenship of the Republic, which is CALIFORNIAN, TEXAN, FLORIDIAN, etc.

 

BTW, US citizenship is a citizenship of DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AKA the United States, and if one can be a citizen of a 10-mile square federal area which isn't even a State, then one CERTAINLY can be a Citizen of a State of the Union!

As you can see below, you're not an American if you claim to be a US citizen, as that means a citizen of the FEDERAL gov't (District of Columbia). Only the 50 states of the Union and THEIR Citizens, are American.

BTW, while federal enclaves/regions can be WITHIN the territorial limits of a State (of the Union), they are WITHOUT the State, as the State has no jurisdiction inside of them. Only Congress has an exclusive jurisdiction in those federal regions, but also its municipal corporations, such as CITY of XYZ or STATE of XYZ.

And that obviously includes federal ZIP regions. I.e. CITY of XYZ and STATE of XYZ are MUNICIPAL corporations of United States, NOT dejure governments of the Republic, and they operate in federal ZIP regions.

Can a little know federal agency turn America into a dictatorship? Hidden in a top secret safe of the Federal Emergency Management Agency are “stacks of blueprints” designed to convert American society into a “command system”—this according to a former deputy administrator of FEMA.

This highly placed source who whishes to remain anonymous confirmed the procedures developed by FEMA to round up thousands of dissenters nationwide can be implemented by a single phone call from the White House.

“In reality FEMA can be mobilized whenever the politicians occupying the White House decide they need special—and extra—Constitutional powers to impose their will on the nation.” Emergency is the trigger word in the FEMA title.

The Director of FEMA shall, on behalf of the President:

1. Coordinate all mobilization activities of the Executive Branch, including production, procurement, manpower, stabilization and transport. FEMA will be able to alter any existing contract.
2. The FRS (Federal Reserve System), with all its branches will become “fiscal agent of the United States” with dictatorial power over the economy of the nation.
3. The Treasury and the Export-Import Bank will authorized to make loans under the direction of FEMA and the FRS.
4. During a “National Emergency” the President, an “Elected official,” will be stripped of all his Presidential functions.
5. Set-up an executive Branch of the government and a national Defense Executive reserve (NDER) composed of persons selected (not elected) from various segments of the civilian economy and from government for training for employment in executive positions in the event of a “National Emergency” Such reservists have been treasonously exempted from certain provisions of the federal criminal code, and may be employed “without compensation,” e.g. shanghaied or blackmailed into service!
6. Seize and / or control every major national asset.
7. Provide for National Security and consolidate the assignment of emergency preparedness functions with various departments and agencies.
8. The Department of Justice shall develop plans for administering laws regarding the import, manufacture and distribution of narcotics, i. e., do anything it wants to eliminate all “law”, they are also ordered to take over all organized crime drug rackets and “manage” the.
9. DECLARE MARTIAL LAW AT ANY TIME. When martial law is declared the Constitution is no longer the law of the land. It is replaced with a military dictatorship.
10. Have the Department of Interior take over all potable water.
11. Place all food production under the Department of Agriculture.
12. Take over all labor resources by means of lists already prepared by the Department of Law.
13. Implement takeover of all forms of transportation, assisted by the Civil Aeronautics Board.
14. Implement takeover of all nuclear reactor facilities by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Seize all sources of public power, electric, nuclear, petroleum, etc.
15. Take over authority and presidential functions of all emergency agencies and reduce the consequences of major terrorist incidents.

Some other FEMA examples of the “perpetuation of a silent coup.”

* Takeover all farms, ranches or timberland in order to utilize them more effectively as decreed in Executive order (EO) 1190, the so-called omnibus emergency preparedness decree promulgated by President Richard Nixon October 28, 1969

*Declare certain areas to be “military reserves” and cause American citizens to be removed from their homes and imprisioned without trial under the pretense of ‘racial difference.”

* Freeze all wages, price and bank accounts.

* Take over all communications media.

Such totalitarian measures can be imposed by bureaucrats under FEMA’s direction, not just in the face of a cataclysmic upheaval, but “whenever necessary for assuring the continuity of the federal government in any national emergency type situation,” decreed a subsequent White House ukase, EO 11921, ISSUED BY President Gerald ford in April 1976.

FEMA DETENTION CAMPS:

Originally under FEMA, 23 detention camps were authorized. These detention camps were spread out across the United States. In addition to that, there are 20 supplemental camps that were authorized with the 1990 / 1991 Military Fiscal Budget. Carl Levin’s DOD budget Amendment 656 authorized the implementation of these 20 camps to supplement the 23 that were already authorized.

There are now 3 total civilian concentration camps pre-deployed inside the continental United State. In addition there are many supplemental camps or auxiliary camps through each state and each region. One example would be the Nike-Hercules site located near Monroe, Michigan.
