Do not, under any circumstances, get an Ebola vaccination!

Do these ten pieces of evidence prove the U.S. government is actively encouraging an Ebola outbreak in America? by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger

Source: Natural News

(NaturalNews) The more closely our team investigates the facts about Ebola here at Natural News, the more I’m convinced the United States government is intentionally trying to increase the spread of the outbreak rather than contain it. I realize this assertion may sound outlandish, but review the evidence below and decide for yourself. This story is extensively sourced with verifiable links.
As microbiologist Dr. Gil Mobley recently said in protest of all the lies and disinformation, “CDC is lying! … [and] If they’re not lying, they are grossly incompetent.” [1]
Here are the top ten pieces of evidence that point to the U.S. government seemingly wanting to see Ebola spread even more. Because, just as Dr. Mobley says, if all this isn’t intentional, then it’s a showcase of extreme incompetence on the part of government:

#1) Obama refuses to halt air travelers from infected countries from entering the United States

Ebola “patient zero” Thomas Eric Duncan flew right into the United States and walked through the international airports of both Washington D.C. and Dallas-Fort Worth. He was never asked about his country of origin and was never screened for any health conditions.
Why are people whose flights originate in Liberia and Sierra Leone still allowed to openly travel to large U.S. cities? Shouldn’t we use the immigration and customs infrastructure already in place at international airports to reject travelers from countries where Ebola is spreading out of control?
Strangely, the United States has far more stringent requirements for cats and dogs entering the country than it does for humans. Dogs and cats must enter the country with extensive health records, but international air travelers can apparently just fly right in even if they’re infected with Ebola.

#2) Texas family is quarantined in a home that still hasn’t been cleaned or decontaminated

“More than a week after a Liberian man fell ill with Ebola and four days after he was placed in isolation at a hospital in Dallas, the apartment where he was staying with four other people had not been cleaned and the sheets and dirty towels he used while sick remained in the home, health officials acknowledged on Thursday afternoon.” – NY Times [2] and Fox News [11]
Even though the home hasn’t been cleaned or decontaminated, family members of Thomas Eric Duncan have been forced into isolation in this contaminated home and told they must submit to regular blood draws by the state.
Already, these family members escaped their isolation and began to mingle once again with the public, violating their isolation orders. The woman, Louise Troh, told reporters she is tired of being “locked up” with her family members. [3]
“Dallas officials said that relatives of the man infected with Ebola left their apartment after agreeing not to, which prompted officials to issue a confinement order overnight,” reports the LA Times. [4] “They were noncompliant with the request to stay home,” said Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins.
Isn’t it insane to force a family into quarantine in a home that’s clearly contaminated with Ebola? Doesn’t this almost prove that government authorities actually want this family to catch the disease and spread it? After all, how else could this family have been “allowed” to violate their isolation and start interacting with the public again? With hundreds (if not thousands) of CDC and Texas health authorities on location dealing with this Dallas outbreak, how could it be that not a single one of these persons was assigned to watching the Duncan household to make sure nobody left?

Cleaning of contaminated apartment delayed by government demand for a “permit”

What’s even more incredible is that the cleaning crew which was hired to sanitize the home was turned away because they were told they needed a Texas Dept. of Transportation permit to drive on state highways after cleaning the home.
“Brad Smith of the Cleaning Guys, which was hired to sanitize the apartment, said his company does not have the proper permits to transport hazardous waste on Texas highways. The company specializes in hazmat and biohazard cleaning services,” reports a local Fox affiliate. [7] “Smith said authorities sent his crew away late Thursday before they entered the apartment and told them to come back with proper permits. It’s unclear how long that will take. ‘The permit is being processed through DOT (the Department of Transportation) because it is a special permit,’ Smith said.”
In other words, a family is being forced to live in an Ebola-contaminated home while the cleaning of that home is delayed because somebody needs a permit to clean it? How insane does this get, really?

#3) The CDC continues to lie about modes of transmission for the Ebola virus

The CDC continues to ridiculously claim that Ebola only spreads through “direct contact of body fluids.” The agency continued to deny that Ebola can spread through the air for short distances and that Ebola can be acquired by touching contaminated surfaces.
The overall lie from the CDC is that Ebola is “difficult to catch.” But if that’s true, then why did so many doctors who are well trained in the prevention of infectious disease still manage to get infected? How did Dr. Kent Brantly get infected?
Even more, how did the NBC News cameraman now get infected even though he took extreme precautions to avoid touching anyone while also carefully washing his own skin and clothes each day?
“I am taking serious precautions and washing with chlorine regularly,” said Ashoka Mukpo, the 33-year-old cameraman, in a NY Daily News article. [9] Clearly this was not an individual who ran around touching infected Ebola patients. Yet he still got infected. How is this possible unless the CDC is lying?
Dr. Gil Mobley “said the CDC is ‘sugar-coating’ the risk of the virus spreading in the United States,” reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. [1]
Research has clearly shown that Ebola virus can ride on aerosols — airborne particles of water or spit — and infect people at a distance. [5] So why isn’t the CDC telling people the truth that Ebola can spread through the air?
And why aren’t frontline doctors and soldiers being told they need to wear full face respirators?
It’s almost as if the CDC wants this to spread in order to generate exactly the kind of pandemic panic that would generate billions of dollars in lucrative vaccine sales. They did it before, after all, with the swine flu scare. So why not use Ebola to also generate more profits for the vaccine makers?

#4) The FDA is openly threatening sellers of natural remedies that might be useful for slowing or stopping Ebola

Instead of encouraging people to boost their immune systems with nutritional therapies, natural remedies and superfoods, the FDA is actively going out of its way to threaten resellers of colloidal silver and essential oils.
Last week, the FDA threatened three companies with criminal prosecution if they didn’t take steps to dissociate their products from Ebola.
One company, the Natural Solutions Foundation, has since claimed that governments are actively seizing colloidal silver shipments to African nations in order to prevent Ebola victims from ever being treated with it. Are these authorities afraid that it might actually work?
Shouldn’t we be trying and testing every herb and natural remedy on the planet to find out how to stop Ebola? Or are we all supposed to wait around for the drug companies to manufacture an experimental vaccine and then put all our trust in that?
Doesn’t anybody realize the company testing the vaccine right now — GlaxoSmithKline — has a long criminal history of admitted felony crimes including the bribery of tens of thousands of doctors?

#5) People entering U.S. customs are not asked where they’ve been

“Yesterday, I came through international customs at the Atlanta airport,” said Dr. Gil Mobley when he recently entered the United States. “The only question they asked arriving passengers is if they had tobacco or alcohol.” – reported in the AJC. [1]
Apparently, U.S. customs is far more interested in determining whether you owe any import tax than whether you might be carrying a deadly pandemic virus. Is nobody in the U.S. government aware that an international pandemic is under way? How is it even possible that people are not being asked about their country of origin?

#6) The U.S. government knew about the outbreak in advance, but didn’t warn the public

It’s now clear that the U.S. government has long known this outbreak was coming but did nothing to warn the public.
In early September, the government sought to purchase 160,000 Ebola hazmat suits from a U.S. supplier.
Furthermore, according to this report on SHTFplan.com, “Disaster Assistance Response Teams were told to prepare to be activated in the month of October.”
Don’t you find it strange that while the government itself was gearing up for an October disaster, the public wasn’t told a thing about any of this?

#7) Even during a global pandemic outbreak, the U.S. government refuses to secure the southern U.S. border

If Ebola victims can fly into the United States, they can surely fly into Mexico, Central America and South America as well.
So why is the U.S. southern border still wide open with virtually zero security? The ability of infected Ebola victims to walk right across the border and into Texas (or other southern states) seems to be of no concern whatsoever to the Obama administration. The political goal of encouraging the maximum illegal immigration possible — and then granting amnesty to a wave of new voters — seems far more important than protecting America from a pandemic outbreak.
Many observers already believe that the mystery entero virus which has sent hundreds of U.S. children to hospitals all across the country probably entered the U.S. through the unsecured border. If Obama can send 3,000 U.S. troops to Sierra Leone, why can’t we send a few thousand enforcers to our own border with Mexico?
The insanity of leaving that border wide open during an international deadly pandemic is beyond description. This is beyond negligent; it is clearly deliberate.

#8) The government’s official advice of “don’t panic, don’t prepare” ensures a greater pandemic emergency during any outbreak

The U.S. government has actually gone out of its way to discourage the American people from taking basic preparedness precautions, long depicting preppers and survivalists as “radical elements” who might even pose a security risk to America, according to FBI warnings.
But in truth, preppers are the most calm people of all because they have nothing to fear from infrastructure disruptions, food supply shortages and even power grid failures. Preppers help keep communities safe and calm, and they’re the best positioned to help rebuild society after any pandemic.
So why does the U.S. government continue to demonize preppers? The intention, it seems, is to make sure nobody engages in preparedeness activities, thereby maximizing the victim status of the people. This, in turn, makes people more obedient to government because that’s where they must now turn for food, water, medicine and safety.
At every turn, the U.S. government seems to have encouraged victimization and actually taught people to do nothing for their own safety and preparedness. This is how nations are brought to their knees: strip away all self-reliance, then follow it up with a sweeping national catastrophe.

#9) The U.S. watched and waited, doing nothing during the original window of opportunity for halting Ebola six months ago

Ebola could have been stopped relatively easily in the spring of 2014. But even when infectious disease experts were sounding the warning many months ago, the U.S. government stood by and did nothing.
This was, in fact, a reflection of the entire international response which was lackluster at best. As Ebola ramped up into exponential growth, world political leaders were apparently too busy running for office and wooing voters to pay any attention to a deadly outbreak happening a continent away.
Obama’s dispatching of 3,000 troops long after the explosive spread of Ebola was already under way is nothing more than medical theater. The Pentagon’s ongoing construction of a reported 1,500 cots in makeshift medical tents isn’t going to make any kind of dent in a country where the CDC now estimates 1.4 million infections by the end of January.
Even worse, it exposes U.S. soldiers to a virus which we already know can be spread through the air. As Rand Paul recently asked, “Can you imagine if a whole ship full of our soldiers catch ebola?” [10]
Paul goes on to explain, “We should not underestimate the transmissibility of this… My suspicion is that it’s a lot more transmissible than that if people who are taking every precaution are getting it. There are people getting it who simply helped people get in or out of a taxicab.”
It’s hard not to consider the possibility that this was done in order to intentionally expose U.S. soldiers to Ebola, then bring them back home to spread the infection in yet more U.S. cities.

#10) The U.S. government has held the patent on Ebola since 2010

This brings up all sorts of important questions: Why did the government patent its “invention” of Ebola? Patents are filed in order to claim monopoly ownership over an invention. That’s the entire purpose of a patent, of course, and by patenting Ebola, the U.S. government is clearly stating that it believes it is the “inventor” of Ebola while seeking to restrict anyone else from using it.
Perhaps this is why Liberian scientist Dr. Cyril Broderick, Professor of Plant Pathology, believes Ebola is an engineered bioweapon. “Ebola is a genetically modified organism (GMO)” he declared in a front-page news story in the Liberian Observer. [8]
He goes on to explain:
[Horowitz] confirmed the existence of an American Military-Medical-Industry that conducts biological weapons tests under the guise of administering vaccinations to control diseases and improve the health of “black Africans overseas.”
SITES AROUND AFRICA, AND IN WEST AFRICA, HAVE OVER THE YEARS BEEN SET UP FOR TESTING EMERGING DISEASES, ESPECIALLY EBOLA
The World Health Organization (WHO) and several other UN Agencies have been implicated in selecting and enticing African countries to participate in the testing events, promoting vaccinations, but pursuing various testing regiments.
AFRICAN LEADERS AND AFRICAN COUNTRIES NEED TO TAKE THE LEAD IN DEFENDING BABIES, CHILDREN, AFRICAN WOMEN, AFRICAN MEN, AND THE ELDERLY. THESE CITIZENS DO NOT DESERVE TO BE USED AS GUINEA PIGS!

BIGGEST THREATS TO HUMANITY ON THE PLANET

BIGGEST THREATS TO HUMANS ON THE PLANET.

Here in Alaska we have lost a billion dollar a year crab fishery in lower Cook Inlet that went directly into the pockets of the common folk and nobody seems to understand or care. Between the EXXON VALDEZ oil spill and the ongoing oil tanker discharges is a wonder we have any fishery at all.

Discharges of oil from shipping, offshore extraction of oil, and transport of oil in pipelines is the result of either accidents or "normal", deliberate operational discharges. Accidental discharges (oil spills) occur when vessels collide or come in distress at sea (engine breakdown, fire, explosion) and break open, or run aground close to the shore, or when there is a blowout of an offshore oil well, or when a pipeline breaks. Much can be done to avoid accidents, but there will always be unfortunate circumstances and situations that cause accidents to happen. Operational discharges, on the other hand, are mostly deliberate and "routine", and can to a very large extent be effectively controlled and avoided. It is much a question combining available technical solutions with information, education and a change of attitude among ship-owners, mariners, offshore platform and pipeline operators.

FROM SHIPS
Ship-related operational discharges of oil include the discharge of bilge water from machinery spaces, fuel oil sludge, and oily ballast water from fuel tanks. Also other commercial vessels than tankers contribute operational discharges of oil from machinery spaces to the sea. Cargo-related operational discharges from tankers include the discharge of tank-washing residues and oily ballast water.
Before international regulations were introduced to prevent oil pollution from ships, the normal practice for oil tankers was to wash out the cargo tanks with water and then pump the resulting mixture of oil and water into the sea. Also, oil cargo or fuel tanks were used for ballast water and, consequently, oil was discharged into the sea when tankers flushed out the oil-contaminated ballast water to replace it with new oil.
  • Crude oil washing systems (COW) means that the cargo tanks, where tankers carry the oil they transport, are cleaned by means of high-pressure flushing with crude oil ("oil to remove oil") or crude oil plus water. This reduces the quantity of oil remaining on board after discharge. The residues from such tank washing are pumped into slop tanks and left in a reception facility in port.
  • Segregated ballast tanks (SBT). Ballast water is taken on board to maintain stability, such as when a vessel is sailing empty to pick up cargo or after having unloaded cargo. Ballast water contained in segregated ballast tanks never come into contact with either cargo oil or fuel oil.
  • Clean ballast tanks. To have so-called dedicated clean ballast tanks (CBT) means that specific cargo tanks are dedicated to carry ballast water only.
  • Operational oil separation and filtering equipment with an automatic stopping device. Bilge water is produced when the machinery spaces of a vessel are cleaned. Leaking cooling water often becomes contaminated with fuel oils and lubricant oils. Vessels in operation produce oil-contaminated bilge water to a variable extent. With the right equipment on board, dirty bilge water can be processed in a way that separates most of the oil from the water before it is discharged into the sea. If the oil content exceeds the limit, the discharge is automatically stopped (bilge alarm).
In a sea area with Special Area status under the international MARPOL Convention Annex I (so far, only the Mediterranean Sea area, the Baltic Sea area, the Red Sea area, the Gulf of Aden area, the Antarctic area, and the North West European waters) , it is altogether forbidden for oil tankers to discharge oil, oily sludge and oil-contaminated residues from tank washing, or heavily oil-contaminated ballast water. All oily wastes (mixtures) must be kept on board and stored in so-called slop tanks until the vessel reaches a reception facility in port. Furthermore, it is not allowed to discharge bilge water unless it has been properly cleaned and contains no more than 15 mg of oil per litre.
Most sea areas are not Special Areas, but in accordance with international regulations under MARPOL, attempts are nevertheless made to make large oil tankers and product carriers have equipment for crude oil washing and segregated ballast tanks. According to MARPOL Annex I, adopted in 1978, all new crude oil tankers of 20,000 dwt and above, and all new product carriers (30,000 dwt and above), must have SBT. Existing tankers over 40,000 dwt must be fitted either with SBT or with COW systems. For an interim period it was also allowed for some tankers to use CBT.
All oil tankers and other large vessels must be fitted with the equipment described above for bilge water cleaning. However, it has been emphasized that bilge water also contains traces of detergents used in the cleaning process. When mixed, the residues of oil and detergents form a stable emulsion with another density than oil. This sometimes milk-like but highly oil-contaminated mixture is not always "recognized" by the separation and filtering equipment, and thus discharged into the sea.

FROM OFFSHORE DRILLING:
Operational discharges in the offshore exploration for and extraction of oil and natural gas include operational wastes, such as drilling fluids/drilling muds, produced formation waters and formation cuttings, and machinery space discharges.
During drilling, specially formulated drilling fluids/drilling muds are used to cool and lubricate the drill bit, control pressure and bring the cuttings (rock or sand from a borehole) back to the surface. The mud is pumped down the drill pipe and into the hole at high velocity through nozzles in the drill bit. Drilling muds are usually a mixture of water, clay, a weighting material (usually barite), and various chemicals. Drilling muds are most commonly based on water (WBM), but in some cases mineral oil (OBM) or synthetics (SBM) is believed to be more biodegradable. Although the use of WBM is preferred, sometimes OBM or SBM has to be used when drilling conditions are more difficult. Inevitably, when drilling with OBM, rock cuttings are contaminated with oil from the muds. In the past when working offshore, these cuttings were often discharged into sea, in accordance with local regulation. Where OBM is used offshore, the spent mud and cuttings are now re-injected or transported to shore for treatment and disposal, or recycling. (The fluid is recycled through a circulation system where equipment mounted on the drilling rig separates out the drill cuttings and allows the clean fluid to be pumped back down into the hole.) The objective of environmental management of drilling operations is to attempt to minimise the potential environmental impacts (see APPEA and OEF).
Where one finds oil, one often also finds water. The water is either naturally present or has been injected into the reservoir to maintain pressure for production. The proportion of water produced increases as the oil field matures. As oil is drawn from a reservoir, it is therefore necessary to separate the water and return it to the ocean. This is what is known as produced formation water (PFW). Great emphasis is placed on ensuring that the water returned to the ocean is as free as possible from oil and chemicals. Strict regulations apply on how much petroleum hydrocarbon is contained in PFW. The objective of environmental management of produced water is to reduce the quantity and to improve the quality of discharged produced water (see APPEA and OEF).
As an oil well is drilled, the drill cuttings, consisted of crushed rock and clay, are brought to the surface by the drilling fluid/drilling mud and discharged overboard. New measures to reduce discharges, such as re-injecting the cuttings into the well, and slim hole drilling, are being examined and tested by the industry (see APPEA). According to Statoil, it ranks today as a tried and tested technology.
Similar to the bilge water from machinery spaces in ships, oil platform machinery space drainage is an oil-containing mixture. Operational oil separation and filtering equipment is thus needed to clean the drainage before it is discharged into the sea. If such equipment is not installed, the oily drainage should be kept on board until it can be transported to a reception facility.

FROM OFFSHORE PIPELINES:

There is no certain figure of how many miles of offshore pipelines there is in the world today. One estimation, published in the 2002 U.S. National Research Council (NRC) report, is 82,748 miles (about 52,000 kilometres) of pipelines. Operational discharges from offshore oil pipelines usually consist of chemical discharges during construction, hydrostatic testing, commissioning, pigging, and maintenance of the pipeline systems. Pipeline discharges usually contain corrosion and scale inhibitors, biocides, oxygen scavengers, and other agents. However, pipelines can also continuously leak oil in small quantities, although the line is intact. (When a pipeline breaks, however, the spill will be an acute one, like any other accidental oil spill.) Technical systems to detect and locate such smaller leaks are required as a means to avoid discharge of oil into the marine environment — as well as to save money for the pipeline operator.

Social Security is a scam...

Before reading the information below, I'd like to share an incident that happened to me a couple months ago at a Walgreens. My husband had a new prescription that cost over $200. I have the Balance Rewards card from Walgreens, which honors prescriptions as well as other purchases. So, I asked for the Balance Rewards for this prescription to be added to my Rewards account.
The pharmacist said she couldn't because I was paying for it with an entitlement. I explained that we have never been on any kind of entitlement program. She stated that Social Security and Medicare are entitlements. I tried not to come unglued, but told her nicely that my husband and I had earned our Social Security and Medicare with money paid into these accounts each and every payday. She said she understood, but it was now called an entitlement, and I couldn't get the Rewards points. I could care less about the Rewards points, but was livid that the government now called Social Security (that we paid into all our lives) an entitlement!
To be fair to Walgreens, the pharmacist said that this was a federal law -- that no one on entitlement can benefit from those payments in any way...getting reward points. Wow! The government has their hands in everything! Anyway, now please read the item below...
If you get any Social Security at all, in any manner, you might want to read. Did you know this?
Unfortunately most did not, and I am one of those whose Social Security funds are direct deposited to my bank, thus, I never see the checks. Once again, our beloved congressmen are playing fast and loose with vernacular. What motive did they have for changing the name of our Social Security? I’m sure they have a plan, and it won't be to our betterment.
Here we go. JUST REALIZED THAT WITH REQUIRED AUTO DEPOSIT, I NEVER GET TO SEE THE CHECK .... ALERT EVERYONE YOU KNOW. THIS AFFECTS ALL OF US.* *Subject:* SOCIAL SECURITY becomes FEDERAL BENEFIT CHECK. Have you noticed, the Social Security check is now referred to as a "Federal Benefit Payment"? I'll be part of the one percent to forward this. I am forwarding it because it touches a nerve in me, and I hope it will in you. Please keep passing it on until everyone in our country has read it...
The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a Federal Benefit Payment. This isn't a benefit. It is earned income! Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our employers did too. It totaled 15% of our income before taxes. If you averaged $30K per year over your working life, that's close to $180,000 Invested in Social Security.
If you calculate the future value of your monthly investment in social security( $375/month, including both your and your employers contributions) at a meager 1% Interest rate compounded monthly, after 40 years of working you'd have more than $1.3+ million dollars saved! This is your personal investment.
Upon retirement, if you took out only 3% per year, you'd receive $39,318 per year, or $3,277 per month . That's almost three times more than today's average Social Security benefit of $1,230 per month, according to the Social Security Administration ( Google it - it’s a fact).
And your retirement fund would last more than 33 years (until you're 98 if you retire at age 65)! I can only imagine how much better most average-income people could live in retirement if our government had just invested our money in low-risk interest-earning accounts .
Instead, the folks in Washington pulled off a bigger Ponzi scheme than Bernie Madoff ever did. They took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot (Knew) that it was OUR money they were taking. They didn't have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them. And they didn't pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently, they've told us that the money won't support us for very much longer. But is it our fault they misused our investments? And now, to add insult to injury, they're calling it a benefit, as if we never worked to earn every penny of it. Just because they borrowed the money, doesn't mean that our investments were a charity!
Let's take a stand. We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government. Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going, for the sake of that 92% of our population who need it.
*Then call it what it is: Our Earned Retirement Income.* 99% of people won't forward this. Will you? *You can bet I WILL!* I THINK WE SHOULD DEMAND THAT THEIR SALARIES AND RETIREMENTS BE CALLED FEDERAL BENEFIT PAYMENTS. THIS WOULD BE MORE HONEST THAN WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY.

Voted best Joke!

Subject: How did we elect his guy?

An Israeli doctor says: "In Israel, medicine is so advanced that we cut off a man's testicles, put them on another man and in 6 weeks, he is looking for work".

The German doctor says: "that's nothing, in Germany we take part of a brain, put it in another man, and in 4 weeks he is looking for work".

The Russian doctor says: "gentlemen, we take half a heart from a man, put it in another's chest and in 2 weeks he is looking for work".

The United States doctor laughs: "You are all behind us. Five years ago, we took a man with no brains, no heart and no balls and made him President. Now, the whole country is looking for work!"

This particular joke won an award for the best joke in a competition held in Britain

Government closes Gunshop owners bank accounts!!!

WASHINGTON — Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX 36) demanded the Obama administration suspend the Justice Department’s “Operation Choke Point,” in which government agents are pressuring banks to close the accounts of legal and law-abiding businesses engaged in commerce contrary to the political views of Barack Obama.
“(T)he Justice Department has launched Operation Choke Point, a credit card fraud probe focusing on banks and payment processors. The threat of enforcement has prompted some banks to cut ties with online gun retailers, even if those companies have valid licenses and good credit histories,” The Washington Times reported Monday morning.
“Under Obama’s ‘Operation Choke Point,’ banks are complaining that government agents are threatening them because they service legal businesses engaged in legal commerce. Often, the customer is a gun retailer or other businesses that poses no risk, but differs with Obama’s political agenda,” said Stockman.
Thousands of gun retailers have had their bank accounts forcibly closed, despite engaging in no illegal activity whatsoever.
“This is just the latest example of the Obama administration exploiting executive power to target political opponents. It would appear the only purpose of Operation Choke Point is to choke the life out of businesspeople with political views that may differ from the President,” said Stockman.
“Unable to pass gun control in Congress, Obama is seeking to stamp out gun ownership through the kind of threats and harassment you’d expect from Third World dictators or Mafia bosses,” said Stockman.
“Targeting the bank account of gun retailers engaged in peaceful and legal commerce is a blatant violation of civil liberties. Under Obama, the United States are becoming a banana republic. The Obama administration must suspend Operation Choke Point and instead focus its resources on criminal enterprises,” said Stockman.

FORWARD BY LONE E. JOHNSON The following article by Lone E. Johnson titled, Alaska’s mad Trapper was printed in the 1959 Tundra Times. My father-in-law, Dick Janson, Sr., was a genuine character in his own right, a well as being a master story teller. His tales of adventure with Pancho Villa’s “Rover Army,” of roaming the Old West, logging, prospecting, and following heavy construction work, and of early Alaska, used to keep us entertained by the hour. Dad left Sweden in 1909 at the age of 20 and came to Alaska in 1916. He taught himself English by reading newspapers. His strength was prodigious and proverbial. He was one of those bull Swedes who would never go around a thing if he could go through it. His two sons used to complain that there were two ways to do things—Dad’s way and the easy way. “The hardest way is not hard enough.” He was a great guy, and as I say, master story-teller. Dad’s stories of the “Mad Trapper of Cordova, another great guy and interesting character, especially caught my fancy. These stories as wild as they seem, are all true. The Mad Trapper was one of those fellows who set his mind a thing and did not quit till he was good at it. When he first came to Alaska as a cheechako, he listened to stories about legendary old-timers and set out to out-do them. He set out to learn to shoot straighter, mush farther, trap better, and anything else he heard about, including flying. In many cases, he succeeded. With it all, he was a born clown and a great favorite with old and young alike. The Mad Trapper went to the Kenai country after he left Cordova, where he continued to pile up the stories and legends about himself. I know little of his subsequent career after leaving Cordova. All I can tell is what dad told me about the “mad Trapper” of Cordova, one sunny day sitting on a clam bar waiting for the tide. I’ll never forget the stories Dad told me about the Mad Trapper. It was a time when Halferty Cannery was putting up an experimental pack of cockles. There were tons of cockles on the clam bars and they were starving out the razor clams, so we were hoping to create a marker for them. They asked dad to get a skiff load, and my husband, Dick Jr., and I went along to help. There were so many cockles on that bar we had all we could carry before low water so we had to wait for the tide. We sat on the edge of the skiff and Dad began to tell stories. A small plane flew overhead about that time and it reminded him of the Mad Trapper. “Now, Toni, let me tell you about the Mad Trapper. If that plane had been him he’d have been diving on us, just to see us jump face down in the mud. He used to do that to the cockle-diggers out on the mud flat in front of Cordova. “And he had the funniest-looking plane—built it himself. I guess it had a pusher-type motor mounted on top and he could do acrobatics with it every-thing. “The way the mad Trapper learned to fly is this: One day he went down to the airport, and he found this plane all gassed up and running: warming up for the pilot, I guess. So the Mad Trapper just piled in and took off. That’s how he learned to fly. When he told me about it I asked him if he landed all right. “Well, I’m here ain’t I?” he demanded. That’s the kind of guy he was. “He used to fly around and buzz bears sleeping on the mountainside. The bears would rise up and growl and bat at him. “When the mad trapper flew over town, he’d come over Main Street, cut the motor and holler: ‘Send me a cab to the airport!’ Authors note* {This is true. He did this on several occasions when I was riding with him.} “One time I was out on the flats fishing and the Mad Trapper landed his plane on the flats nearby. So I took him to the boat for coffee. Well, I poured him a cup and handed it over. He took one sip and spit it overboard. ‘Do you call that weak slop coffee? He said.” Dad’s coffee was pure battery acid. He kept it on the middle of the stove all day, boiling vigorously. Whenever the pot ran low, he’d add some more grounds and more boiling water. Once a week or so he’d have to throw out all the grounds because there would be no room in the pot. This was the “weak slop” the Mad Trapper complained of. Dad went on with the story. “Well I threw all that coffee out and handed him the pot and the can of coffee and told him to make it himself. Well, he did. He took a whole pound of coffee and put it in the pot and added water. When it was boiled up, he said, ‘Now that’s coffee!’ “So while we were drinking this here coffee, the Mad Trapper asks me if, I ‘me going to town this weekend, and I told him no, it took too long to run in-this was in the days before the big, high-powered kickers. “‘Oh,’ he laughed. ‘That’s no problem, I’ll fly you in!’ “Well I looked at his plane, and I say, “It looks like there’s only one seat in there. Where would I ride?’ “Well, the Mad Trapper pointed to the plane, “See those handles up on the wing? You just lie out on the wing under the engine there and hold on and I’ll have you to town in no time at all!’ Well, that’s one ride I didn’t take. That crazy fool might have decided to do a few loops and dives while I was up there! “Do you know what happened to that plane? On day he decided to fly through a narrow canyon-–a real narrow canyon—and he came walking out the other side with the engine strapped to his back. “Well you know, the Trapper, he was a real big guy—strong as a bull—and tough! He could chew up railroad spikes and spit out carpet tacks! His real name was Henry Kroll, but no one ever called him anything but the Mad Trapper. He’d do some of the craziest things. I’ll never forget the time I met him coming down the trail one winter in hip boots on skis. And he didn’t have a thing to eat with him. I told him that the jackrabbits carried more lunch than he did. “The Mad trapper had a funny sense of humor. He would go into a tear-jerker movie and when the movie got real sad and all the women started crying he’d bust out laughing at the top of his lungs, and pointing to all the people dabbing their eyes. “The kids used to tease him all the time, and the mad trapper would chase them. They always got away, because they had all their avenues of escape mapped out—like they’d run through the Northern Hotel, out the back and jump over the bank so he couldn’t catch them. They considered it great sport to tease the mad trapper. But one day, Sonny Olson made the mistake of running down the dock, and when he got to the end there was no escape. He was cornered. “The mad Trapper took Sonny’s pants off and chased the embarrassed, kid all the way through town. He followed the kid all the way carrying his pants over his arm and yelling. “I’ll teach those little so-and so’s to tease me! “Oh the best story of all was the time he took a contract to capture some live animals for a zoo outside. The first thing he tried for was a mountain goat. Being the sort of man he was, he ignored the smaller specimens and lassoes the biggest goat in the heard. The big Billy took off across the mountainside before the Mad Trapper had a chance to snub off the rope. Off they went--the trapper trying to snub the rope on every rock, tree or outcropping they went whizzing past—but the big Billy was moving too fast. It was all the trapper could do to keep upright and moving in the same direction. Then the goat came charging over a rock slide area. Both the goat and the Trapper lost their footing here and went sliding down the mountain. They slid just a little way when the rope fetched up in the middle around a clump of alders. With this, the two contestants began to slide closer together, and the mad Trapper began to figure at last that he might be able to tie the legs of the goat and have him. But he glanced up at the alder clump and saw that it was gradually pulling out by the roots and that soon the Trapper and the Billy goat would resume their slide down the steep slope. So the Mad Trapper admitted defeat, whipped out his hunting knife and as soon as he got close enough, cut the goat loose with only a short bit of rope left which would easily come off. He later captured some smaller goats for the outside zoo people. “But he did trap three live wolverines for the zoo. One of the wolverine he knocked out so he could put him in an old Yukon stove. That one he drug behind him on a sled. Another one was tied to his pack and the third he was pushing in front with one leg hobbled to a pole. This one was trying to turn around all the time and bite him. The one in his pack was struggling to get free so violently that he was making the Trapper stumble. This is the way he traveled the twenty-five miles into Cordova from his trap-line on the Copper River. “Well after a while the wolverine in the stove came too and started to growl and the one in his back kept fighting the ropes and the one in front kept trying to bite him and it put the Mad Trapper out of sorts. “Well thing were going pretty good till the Trapper got a little careless once and forgot to watch. Now a wolverine is a pretty tough animal, and when the Trapper--- You have to read the book to find out what happened next because I lost the rest of this article.
